Mini-Session Announced and More Pictures of my Cousin!

The first mini-session of the year is going to be on April 5th! I found an amazing new location that is perfect for a mini-session. You guys are going to LOVE it!! I want to start at 9:00 and will take sessions every 20 minutes until 12:00. On to the pictures! A little story behind these pictures first. My cousin's boyfriend contacted me to do a photoshoot of just the two of them for Valentine's Day. Everyone can say "awwwwwwww!" How cute is that? Of course I had to say yes!! I knew he was a surfer so I asked him if we could do pictures at the beach and use his surfboards as props. He obliged and we set up a date to "surprise" Natalie with the shoot. I had SO.MUCH.FUN shooting these. I secretly want to be a fashion photographer and I wanted to shoot these like they could belong in an Anthropologie catalogue. I shot these in full sun on the beach and I didn't worry about the light. It was so freeing! I LOVE the way they turned out! Here is just a small sampling of my favorites.



My doggy Lucy made a cameo in some of the pictures :)

I took my gorgeous cousin out for a little photoshoot a couple of months ago. Here are some of my favorites...she is so easy to photograph!!



We decided to do something a little crazy...we ventured into the cemetary for these shots. The light in the cemetary was AH-MAZING!!



These did a little experimenting on the post processing of these...

















I LOVE these trees!! I did a little happy dance when I saw this one that was small enough to reach (normally they are very tall).







Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes! I am feeling MUCH better now!! I can finally lay on my back again!!

Erin & Cory Together...

Warning...this is a really LONG post! It was too hard to pick only a couple of favorites...I love them all! Stay tuned for an AMAZING promotion and a review on another lens that I borrowed this week :) Ok...I'm off to watch the new episode of "The Office!" Thank the lord that the writer's strike is FINALLY over and new episodes are airing :) My weekly dose of Michael makes me happy!
