Kodi {Orlando Pet Photographer}

While I was at the beach taking Natalie and Luke's pictures, my brother and his girlfriend also happened to be at the same beach with their first baby. I asked them if they wanted me to take some pictures of him. They agreed and this is what I got from our little mini-session :)

For the record, Kodi is a Jack Russel mixed with something that we don't know because he was a rescue dog.

He already loves his mom the best :)

Cute Little Doggy {Orlando Pet Photographer}

I had a consult over at one of my clients house last weekend. She is also interested in photography and I was giving her some tips on how to get a proper exposure. Of course, I was demonstrating how your camera will underexpose the image when the subject is backlit so this image is so technically not correct...but I love it anyways. How cute and full of personality is this dog? I LOVE his little mowhawk!

The Worst....

I have been the WORST lately....the worst blogger, the worst mother (I feel like), the worst wife, the worst friend...luckily not the worst photographer! I feel like I have not left this computer for two months straight and if I do, it's to go and take photographs. I know I'm not really the worst, but this is the first time that I have worked full time since becoming a mommy, so I guess I am feeling some of that guilt that ALL working moms feel. It makes it even worse because I work from home so I am constantly telling my kids to leave mommy alone because she is working :( And my poor kids...I haven't been to the grocery store in over two weeks...they have nothing to "shop" for in the pantry. I am ready for the holiday break...haha, that's an oxy-moron! A break during the holidays? Please! Like that really happens...but at least I will be spending some time with my kids. Does anyone out there have some tips for me on how to balance everything? How do working moms do it?

Now that things have finally slowed down a little, I am going to try and blog everything that has been happening! I have so much to share!! I shot my second wedding last month and it went great!! I can't wait to share the images with you. I am seriously considering expanding my business into the wedding field but I am proceeding with caution. My portrait business is expanding rapidly and I couldn't be more delighted! I LOVE what I do and I can't wait to see what the new year has in store. I have so many goals for my business next year...I will be blogging them later! But for now, I have a few images to share...

First up...I took this picture of Miss Elizabeth's (from Kindermusik) dogs, Stella and Hannah! I just think it is such a cool picture. Check it out!

Next up...some pictures from our holiday photo shoot. These were shot by one of my clients, Le Stinson. She did a great job!! My kids, on the other hand, were not behaving themselves...by the time we left, I was so mad at them, I couldn't even look at them! Why can't they just behave? The dog (Lucy Boo) was the best behaved (besides me of course ;) out of the whole group.

Lucy is a "mini" Lab. I don't know what happened to her, but she is almost a year old and is only 40 pounds. I think it's cute...

You can tell how thrilled the kids are to be taking pictures...

Dylan won't kiss me in public anymore :( So I had to kiss him!

Lastly, to help with the guilt of being a bad mom, I got the afternoon off on Sunday and decided to take the kids to Epcot. One of my New Year's resolutions is to bring my camera with me everywhere we go and document a whole year on film so I can make a photobook for Christmas next year. I don't take hardly any photographs of my kids because a. my camera is big and heavy and not fun to lug around (I used to have a P&S but I left it outside and it got water damage) and b. my kids act like this when I try and take their picture...

1. Fake smile
2. Please can we go, I can't believe you are making us sit here and take pictures face...

3. We'll just look bored until she stops face...
I promise I will be a better blogger over the holiday season! I hope everyone has a wonderful week!
Til next time...
