Tera and Todd {Orlando Engagement Photographer}
I met this gorgeous couple in downtown Orlando for their e-session! We had so much fun and I can't wait for their wedding next year.
We started off around Lake Eola...
We stopped into Eola Wine Company for a glass of wine. Tera and Todd consider themselves "wannabe" wine connoisseurs.
We then made our way down to Latitudes, the bar where they met! I love it when couples personalize their engagement sessions.
Todd pulled out the running man to get Tera's attention. Of course, we had to recreate this scenario at Latitude's! This is how it alllll started! I wish I was computer savvy and could animate this picture but I'm not so you will just have to imagine it!
Cute picture at the bar! I guess Tera was SUPER impressed with the dance moves ;)
When I asked Tera what Todd's interests were, she told me money. He's an accountant so I guess that makes sense! Hence, this picture (which I love!)
So cute!
Thanks Todd and Tera! I had so much fun with you guys :)
In other news, I have a couple of announcements!
CD's are on sale for this week only!!! If you would like to purchase a session from the past OR you are getting pictures done in the future and want to capitalize on this DEAL, let me know!
For a full session, CD's are on sale for $250.00 each or $200.00 each for more than one session.
Mini-session CD's are on sale for $125.00 each or $100.00 each for more than one session.
I am also holding Father's Day mini-sessions this Sunday! Times will be in the morning from 9:00-12:00 at the Maitland Art Center. Cost is $150.00 for a 20 minute session + CD!
I will probably never have this deal again so don't wait! Email me at kristin [at] kristinmizophoto [dot] com if you are interested in either or both deals :) Sale ends on Sunday June 6th!!

Photo Shoot at the Fair {Orlando Baby Photographer}
Before I get to the photos, I just wanted to clarify something. I get questions all of the time if I got a divorce. The answer is NO! I was a single mom last year for approximately 3 months while my husband was working in Alaska. He came home at the end of October and will probably be leaving again soon to work there again. Thank you everyone for all of your concern and support!
You may remember the photo contest I had last year. Well the winner lives in Minnesota but was able to make it down just in time for Sunny Grace's first birthday. I love this girl because she gives me complete creative control. We were trying to think of an amazing place to do their photo shoot on the way to the beach and we passed the Seminole County Fair. So PERFECT! I wanted to juxtapose a glam mommy with the grunge of a fair. I also wanted the shoot to have an editorial feel. Brandy was totally on board with my ideas and I LOVE the way the pictures turned out! One of my favorite sessions ever!
One of the best things was little Sunny Grace's face. It literally was her first time at the fair, riding the Ferris wheel and carousel and eating cotton candy. I know she will treasure these pictures when she grows up and that is why I love my job so much!
BTW...the entire concept was done by me! I even styled Brandy's clothes and did her make-up. If you are interested in having a styled shoot done by me, please email me at kristin[at]kristinmizophoto[dot]com
Til next time...

Trash the Dress
Why hello blog...it's been a while! I have a million excuses as to why I have not been updating but I am going to just start fresh!
A couple of weeks ago, I had two girls contact me to do a Trash the Dress. I thought everyone knew what this was but they had a lot of comments on their facebook wall that said otherwise. So I guess I should start with an explanation of what it is. It is basically a photo shoot where you put your wedding dress back on after the wedding and do things in it your wouldn't do on your wedding day to get a good picture. Many brides are opting to do this in lieu of preserving their dress in hopes that their daughters may one day want to wear it for their own wedding. It is also a great time to change your wedding day look with fun accessories, funky shoes, amazing hair pieces, ect. These were so much fun to do! The girls gave me total creative control so I picked a marsh (interesting to say the least) and gave the girls some funky black accessories. LOVE the way these turned out!!
These plants had needles on the end of them...she was very brave to lay down in them!
I hope it was worth it!
I wish I had a video outtake of this shot....getting her in this tree hanging over the water was HILARIOUS!
Email me at kristin [at] kristinmizophoto [dot] com if you are interested in doing a session like this. We don't have to actually trash your dress...just get really cool pictures that you can enjoy forever! Both girls were able to clean their dresses! It doesn't have to be just you either, you can include your husband too if you want!

Josh and LeeAnne {Orlando Wedding Photographer}
I have been looking forward to this wedding ALL year long! LeeAnne has kept me in the loop on all of the details for the wedding and I was so excited to see it all come together. LeeAnne's sister is SO TALENTED and personally created so many of the details which made the wedding even more special!
LeeAnne looked absolutely stunning! Her hair and make-up team really outdid themselves.
The gorgeous dress...
And HOT PINK shoes!!!
Ring shot!
LeeAnne was so excited to finally put on the dress!
A quick bridal portrait...
LeeAnne was starting to get anxious to see Josh....
I was so excited that LeeAnne and Josh opted for a first look. They got married in November and it gets dark at 5:00. Since LeeAnne made photos a priority, she wanted the best light so we did all of the pictures before the ceremony. Here is a picture of her bridesmaids protecting her so Josh didn't accidentally see her before the first look....
And here is Josh nervously waiting...
Hang on Josh...don't look yet! I LOVE this picture!!!
I love these moments right as they see eachother for the first time. It was such a special, private moment and I am so happy to have captured it :)
LeeAnne showing off her dress...
My awesome second shooter, Tab McCausland grabbed this shot!
Josh holding the bouquet...he looks like he likes it :)
A couple more pictures of the bride and grooom...
We then headed over to the ceremony site, Paradise Cove. It is so beautiful there and such a perfect place to get married!
The groomsmen were so silly....one of them suggested getting in this boat!
The girls looked stunning!
Here are some of the details from the ceremony! LeeAnne's sister made the programs...
Tabitha grabbed this picture of LeeAnne and her dad right before they walked down the aisle. She was so excited and full of smiles!
But as soon as she turned to walk down the aisle, the tears started flowing...
Josh's grandpa got up to say a prayer and remember Josh's father who passed away last year.
LeeAnne is just a little excited to finally be married!
The new Mr. and Mrs. Walker...literally 30 seconds after this was taken it started raining. Good thing all of their pictures were already done!
A sweet moment between LeeAnne and her mom right after the ceremony...
The reception site looked absolutely gorgeous!! I love all of the details!
The cupcakes were SO YUMMY!!!
First dance...
The sweet father/daughter dance...
LeeAnne got serenaded by one of the groomsmen...
And had a lot of fun dancing at the reception...here she is busting out the sprinkler!
A picture of me and the bride :) I look like a hot mess (thanks humidity!) but LeeAnne looks beautiful!!
I love the way Josh and LeeAnne shared the cake...
I don't know what Josh is doing but LeeAnne sure seems to be enjoying it!
The boys were very into catching the garter. Look at the one groomsmen getting ready to push the other one out of the way....
Go boys GO!
The girls were just as ready...look at those faces!!! LOVE IT!!!
Congratulations LeeAnne and Josh!! Thank you for letting me be a part of your day! I had so much fun and I am so thankful for new friends!
Much Love,
Kristin
