Photo Shoot at the Fair {Orlando Baby Photographer}

Before I get to the photos, I just wanted to clarify something. I get questions all of the time if I got a divorce. The answer is NO! I was a single mom last year for approximately 3 months while my husband was working in Alaska. He came home at the end of October and will probably be leaving again soon to work there again. Thank you everyone for all of your concern and support!

You may remember the photo contest I had last year. Well the winner lives in Minnesota but was able to make it down just in time for Sunny Grace's first birthday. I love this girl because she gives me complete creative control. We were trying to think of an amazing place to do their photo shoot on the way to the beach and we passed the Seminole County Fair. So PERFECT! I wanted to juxtapose a glam mommy with the grunge of a fair. I also wanted the shoot to have an editorial feel. Brandy was totally on board with my ideas and I LOVE the way the pictures turned out! One of my favorite sessions ever!

One of the best things was little Sunny Grace's face. It literally was her first time at the fair, riding the Ferris wheel and carousel and eating cotton candy. I know she will treasure these pictures when she grows up and that is why I love my job so much!

An Explanation and an Announcement!

Hello blog...I've missed you! Since becoming a single mom three weeks ago, I have no longer have any time. Being a single mom hasn't been too bad so far but it is EXTREMELY time consuming. I also had THREE newborn shoots last week...two of them took more than one day :-/ All I can say is school cannot come fast enough. Of course...it your yearly reminder in August that Christmas is right around the corner! I will have a very limited number of sessions this year because of scheduling issues (unless I get a dependable babysitter) and I will also be holding 3 mini-sessions. These are extremely popular and already filling up fast so if you want one, act quickly! Here are all of the details...just and FYI, I have had requests for the October 18th and the November 15th dates to be places where doggies can be included :)

Here are the dates for the holiday mini-shoots! They will be $50 for 20 minute sessions...maximum of 9 sessions per date so if you are interested, let me know ASAP! I already know that the one in November will fill up VERY fast!

Saturday, October 3rd
Sunday, October 18th
Sunday, November 15th

Brady wasn't into having his picture taken..I actually really like this...it's so indicative of a two year old!

Baby Lincoln {Orlando Newborn Photographer}

This is my 100th post! Do I get syndicated like the TV shows? I do have an announcement/question in honor of my 100th post!(Grandma...you can just skip right on down to the next paragraph!) I've been wanting to do a boudoir bash for a while now. If anyone has been thinking about doing boudoir pictures, this is for you! It would be held at a swanky hotel in downtown, include hair and make-up so you will look ultra hot, and a session album. The best part? It will all be brought to you for a BIG discount! I was thinking sometime in August to give everyone enough time to get ready. Also..don't worry about anyone being in the room while we are doing your pictures! Ok, on to baby Lincoln. Love this little guy! He was a sweet little preemie just home from his stay at the hospital. He was so good to me! He LOVED being naked and he didn't potty the WHOLE time I had him naked! More pictures coming soon but for now, enjoy these pictures! They are inspired by the incredible and infinitely more talented, Carrie Sandoval.

Aiden is 1! {Orlando Family Photographer}

We ventured up to St. Augustine for this shoot. I was so excited to take go there again...it is such a neat place to photograph! Here are some of my favorites!

I thought Aiden would be scared of the pirate but he didn't seem to mind...





LOVED this fence!





I saw this wall and HAD to have pictures in front of it! Unfortunately, they had to stand behind an air conditionining unit in order to get the shot. Poor Liz got so DIRTY...I wish I got a picture of her legs after this shot. Aiden was a little scared of the unit at first...



But then I got a cute picture...and it is one of his mommy's favorites!

In case everyone is wondering, Charlie is not in Alaska yet. Apparently all of the contracts are caught up in permitting at the local government level. It is so annoying having to wait. For now, I am just enjoying the time we have left with him.
